BAKER, Jay L., 94, went to be with our Lord, March 3, 2015. He was born November 9, 1920 in Headland, AL and was a World War II Army Veteran, serving in the European Theater. After returning, he married his sweetheart, Earline Burke and moved to Tampa in 1946. He retired from General Portland Cement. He was a member of Oak Park Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his wife Earline and is survived by his daughters Janice Matthews (Ron), Shirley Cohick (Wayne), Milly Wynn (Tony) and Doris Haynie (Aubrey); 6 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 1:PM with service to begin at 2:PM, both at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
