SWEBERG, Jerry, 95, of Brandon entered into rest January 9, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughters, Ruth and husband, Glen Oswald, Kathryn and husband, Mark Dreusicke; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter. A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home.

Jerry's mother, Ruth Tishman Sweberg, emigrated to America from Poland. She arrived at Elliis Island on July 25, 1905.

FROM THE FAMILY

Jerry's father, Nathan Sweberg, also emigrated to America from Poland. He arrived at Ellis Island on September 2, 1904.

Ruth passed before Nathan on December 12, 1943. She was the love of his life.

This is Beril Tishman, Ruth's father and Jerry's grandfather. He emigrated to America with Ruth and two of her sisters. He was a very spiritual man who cared nothing about money.
