Cannon, Jimmie Lee “Papa”, 82 of Plant City, Florida, entered into rest on October 7, 2014. Jimmie was born in Athens, Tennessee to the late Tina Belle and Jesse James Cannon. He was a longtime member of the Ruskin Moose Lodge. Jimmie now joins his beloved wife of 50 years, Gussie Ann Cannon; 2 sons, David Cannon and Ricky Cannon; brothers, Wilburn Cannon, Bill Cannon; sister Opal Proffitt. He leaves behind his sons, Jammie Cannon and Mark Cannon (Teresa); ten grandchildren, David, Stephanie, Josh, Sarah, Adam, Matthew, Andrew, Tina, Paula, and Zack; sister, Anna Lou Davis; and several great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Stowers Funeral Home of Brandon; family will receive guests one hour prior to service.
