BRIDGES, Joan "Jody" G. of Brandon, 80, passed away October 11, 2013. Born April 26, 1933 in Dexter, Maine, to the late Jerry and Lily Gallagher. Jody graduated Portland High School, Portland, Maine. She worked many years as a legal secretary and in the insurance industry. She was a devout Christian and many will remember her, and her late husband Donald, for their music and their prison ministry. She was predeceased by infant children, Cheryl and Phillip, three brothers, Jerry, Jr., Ralph and John Gallagher and two sisters, Helen G. Levesque and Carley Jean Gallagher. Survivors include sister, Annie G. Briggs, Plant City and brother, Dan (Caro) Gallagher, Roanoke, Virginia, and special niece and caregiver, Deborah G. Kobritz, Tampa, along with other nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff at Belvedere Commons, Jody's most recent home.
