I don't know where to begin. When I heard Johnny died, I didn't want to believe it. He was always such a caring person, always there whenever anyone needed help. I will forever cherish our two families camping together. He was such a joy to have around. I am still having trouble believing my Nephew is gone. Johnny, you will be missed but NEVER forgotten. 
I will always remember your great smile, your great personality, and how you were always kidding around with everyone. You will always have a place in my heart.

Johnny was such a wonderful, caring & compassionate nephew. It is so difficult to think that he is no longer with us. He is with his cousin Keith now. They were  so close & both were way to young to leave us! You will be forever in my thoughts and prayers.

I was truly saddened by my cousin's passing. It did not seem real when I heard the news. Like my Mother, one of my fondest memories is camping with Johnny and his family. Out of the kids, he was the oldest, and I was the youngest. I could always count on him to give me a helping hand or protecting me, including saving me from getting sprayed by a skunk. I regret not getting together with him more often as an adult, but I always admired and respected his kind and good heart. Our family is truly better for having him being part of it.

My thoughts of Johnny always turn to his youth. Such a sweet,  gentle and generous boy. I remember how much our dad loved him. He would always be the first to babysit Johnny or spend quality time with him. “Grandpa” made sure every Christmas Johnny received the new year’s Hess Truck. He brought so much joy to our family. I remember how much my girls and I enjoyed going to the Jensen home on the holidays because we knew we would have such fun and their home was always decorated beautifully! Johnny was at the forefront of those decorations. Designing and creating beautiful art for his home and within his community. He’s beautiful creations and spirit brought us and the community together. 
I will forever remember his laugh and the sparkle in his eyes, especially when he was with his mom.

John Henry Johnson will remain in our hearts and memories as a kind, hard-working, devoted family man. For many of us, Johnny will first be remembered as a smiling and funny mischievous young boy. Always at the forefront, leading his sister and many cousins into our daily adventures. While also keeping a watchful eye on the smaller members of our family gang. He was always ready for a day filled with exploring and discovering. Teaching us how to play Marco Polo, chasing us through the neighborhood yards and countless hours of tack. Johnny mastered the art of the rotten egg hunt! He skillfully taught us the protocol of what to say in front of parents and what must be said out of earshot of the adults. While Johnny was always ready for a good humored practical joke, he was also a thoughtful and loving young man. He introduced us to the Beatles and made us all wonder who really was the Walrus? Well in his presence we always knew we were in store for a fun, loving good time!

My heart is broken. I will forever miss Johnny. He had so many enduring qualities. Knowing for his warm, caring and generous heart just like his mom. If you needed a helping hand you could count on John. He was very artistic and creative. His great sense of humor always made you want to be around him. He had high values and a strong faith. John loved people and they loved him too. There are so many things about Johnny I will miss and I will never forget them. I wish he had not left us so soon. 

God called an angel home today, our thoughts  and prayers are with you all.

"Johnny's" strong faith never faltered, no matter what the circumstance. A joy to all who love him. His aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins will forever cherish the times spent with him. Johnny will remain in our hearts and we'll no doubt smile (and cry) when we think of his wonderful sense of humor, laugh, and his love for his dogs and horses. He also was a wonderful natural born artist. I am so thankful Johnny and his Mother are such kindred spirits.

Johnny was always a caring, compassionate, and will always be remembered for his loving nature for people and his animals (both dogs and horses)  as a boy, and as a man. He was the best son to his Mom,Cheryl and his Dad, Jack . Despite, only talking to Johnny  on the phone and not  being able to see Johnny  often,  we always remember Johnny's as one of God's good angels on earth. Johnny shined a light into  the darkness when there were challenges for himself and others. Johnny's Aunt Melanie. Kathe, Jb, Karen, Alana and Debby, as well as his uncles, nieces, and nephews will cherish their memories of Johnny .We know Johnny's spirit  has passed and is  now renewed in heaven with God.
