Jose was born on 8 August 1953 to Rafael Antonio Germosen and Reina Martinez in Dominican Republic. After graduating from high school he joined the Armed Forces for an illustrious career in the Army proudly serving his country meritoriously for 39 years. He received numerous awards and commendations for his valor.
In 1979, he met the love of his life, Natividad Flores, and they wed in 1981, going on to have four children, Brelin, Jose, Nataniel, and Yordana.
Jose is survived by his wife of 45 years Natividad Germosen and their children; Brelin Germosen, Jose Germosen, Nataniel Germosen, and Yordana Germosen and their seven grandchildren.
