QUINTAS, Jose’ Benjamin, 61, of Brandon entered into rest December 19, 2015. Jose’ moved to Tampa from Cuba in 1962. He just recently retired from Tampa Electric after 37 ½ years of service. Jose’ was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 14278 as a 4th degree Knight. He also was involved with the Boy Scouts, and an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonardo Quintas. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Terri; sons, Joseph, Daniel (Erised); mother, Nila Quintas; brother, Jorge (Vanessa); niece, Tatiana. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home.
