

He was born on September 1, 1935 in the Bronx, New York to the late Anna and Pasquale D’Arco.
Joseph attended New York City College and worked as a Civil Engineer and Financial Liaison for many construction companies in New York and New Jersey. Following his retirement, he and his wife Joan relocated to Florida.
In his free time, Joseph enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, bowling, hosting parties, rooting for the Yankees, and took great pride in spending time with his family.
Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years Joan D’Arco; children, Linda (Martin) Stio, Nancy (John) Lee, Joseph D’Arco; sister, Carmela Gilronan, Sister-in-law Vivian Diaz, grandchildren, Christopher (Laurie) Stio, Lauren (Patrick) Fitzsimons, Kristen (Bryan) Stewart, Steven (Stephanie) D’Arco, Jennifer Lee, Amber Lee, Brandi Lee; great-grandchildren Teddy Stio, Kieran Stewart, Genevieve Stio, Vincent Varney, Hunter D’Arco, Liam, Terri, Rory, Casey Fitzsimons, many nieces and nephews and friends.
A visitation for Joseph will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Stowers Funeral Home, 401 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, Florida 33511.The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 10:00 AM, at Stowers Funeral Home 401 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, Florida 33511. Interment will follow at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, Florida 33511.
