It pains me to hear you are gone. You were my hero! I never once heard you speak poorly of anyone...ever. That's a rare thing indeed in today's world of drama queens and political mud-slinging.
I'll never forget the time we were seated next to each other at a Thanksgiving dinner and you leaned over and shared with me the true meaning of the term "Yes Dear". Ever since then whenever anyone has said those words, I think of you and chuckle inside.
You are in my prayers Uncle Joe and I wish you God-speed. I'm guessing you are either flying B-24s again, or screaming down some road on a motorcycle. Either way, I am confident that Jesus awaits you with open arms where he will say, "Well done, good and faithful servant".
Aunt Anita, John, Liz, Colleen and Laurie...my most sincere condolences for the loss of your husband and Dad...he will be sorely missed.
