To Gomez Family

My deepest sympathy to Gladys Gomez on the loss of a very loving caring husband Juan Gomez have been my neighbor for past 8 yrs beautiful couples always make you smile and feel warmth around them. Gladys remember the memory you both build and share together it take time much love.

We are all here breathing on God's time. I am so thankful that  I had the opportunity to serve with SGT Gomez! He was a Soldier's Soldier through and through.  He was the kind of guy that would ask how you were and mean it! Soldiers  and leaders looked to him not 
just  because he may have had the best scores or evaluations. We looked to him and trusted him because he cared! He could see the human side of things!  To his family, thank you so much for your sacrifice to this country. Thank you for sharing SGT Gomez  with us! I will miss his infectious laugh and smile.

 My condolences to the family Gomez, 993rd and friends  for the lost of a great human being a hero. (SGT) Gomez *Viejo* the way we used to called each other when we see either in Camp Blanding or any military activity.   I might not have a photo at the moment to share but i will keep all the good memories that me and SGT Gomez had in all these years in the military filed.  

I was a pain in the rear end to him because i was every time when i see him i was "Viejo did you submit your claim to the VA, when are you going to do it" 

He was oh my God Viejo (SGT Melendez) No Jodas mas in a good way LOL!! * If you knew SGT Gomez he will used his Spanish Alphabet skills cursing words very well LOL!!!

He said i will do it and finally he really did it i was so happy for him and his wife!!!!  

Hermano Dios te tenga en la gloria, extranare tus buenos consejos e historias tuyas cuando estabas en New York.  Aprendi mucho de ti, no mas cafe del bueno o dias sin banarse en el field.
 
Nos veremos algun dia hermano te me fuistes muy pronto  Dios te bendiga siempre.
