WOOD, Juanita, 84, of Valrico passed away March 5, 2012. She retired from Lykes Brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Wood. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Alice Jernigan and Luwanna (Harold) Powell; sister, Mary Thornburg; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends, 6-8 p.m., Thursday, March 8, 2012 with a funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 9, 2012 at Stowers Funeral Home. Juanita will be laid to rest with her husband in Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to LifePath Hospice.
