She was born on May 4, 1947 in San Antonio, Texas to John (“Pappaw”) and Justine (“Mamaw”) Beaty, who both preceded her in death. Her father, a WWII veteran of the Pacific War, is buried along with her mother at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
Denise married Charles E. Lane, also of Mango, in 1964. They were both graduates of Brandon High School. Together through the decades they raised their large family on their Mango property.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her family, who include Chari Charon (daughter), and sons Chuck Lane and Jeff Lane. Grandchildren include Amanda, Jennifer, Emily, Courtney, John, David, Mathew, Kelsey, and Jesselyn. Her many, many great-grandchildren were also never far from her heart. Surviving also is Denise’s brother, Mike Beaty, of Soquel, California.
Besides her parents, Denise was preceded in death by granddaughter Kristin DeSimone and daughter Shannon Lane.
The greatest loves of Denise’s life was just being in her large family get-togethers where the laughter and fun would go on and on. She also loved her creative outlets of appearing in films and commercials. But her most rewarding activity was performing creative readings as the character of Mother Goose or Mrs. Santa Claus. Her warm performances always captivated children everywhere. Denise was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart.
