With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Sue Mullins, 78, whose life was filled with love, strength, and generosity.
Karen was a beloved mother to Delia Brocklehurst (Shawn Stephenson), Amber Roe (Stephen), and Richard Mullins Jr. She was cherished by her grandchildren—Shawn Brocklehurst, Courtney Minervini (Mario), Katrina Stephenson (Aaron), Kaitlyn Dunham (Justin), and Tristen Roe—and adored by her great-grandchildren Brayden Ritz, Brantley Ritz, Brody Roe-Dunham, Mila Dunham, and Rory Dunham. To them, she was simply “Granny,” the heart of the family.
Her memory will live on through the laughter, stories, and traditions she leaves behind.
A celebration of Karen’s life will be held at Sunset Funeral Home 3940 N. Vermillion St. Danville, IL. 61834 on October 15, 2025, where family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance.
