Kathryn Ann Finley

Kathryn is survived by; her children, Brenda and Tammy; and seven siblings. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, one sibling, and spouse.

Kathryn was born on October 1, 1946, in Toledo, Ohio, to Edith Noonan and Ralph Howard. She graduated from trade school in 1987 with training as a professional secretary. Kathryn married Louis Disher. After moving to Florida, Kathryn began working for Whataburger as a curb waitress. Kathryn was the proud mother of two children, Brenda and Tammy.

Kathryn enjoyed teaching them everything she knew. Her children remember her as a strong, generous, lovable, and outgoing mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Kathryn was especially talented at knitting and was known for her famous apple cake. She was a witty person who loved her daytime soaps and crime shows and was passionate about loving and providing for her big family. She was an active and dedicated member of her senior living community and was known for helping those in need, often giving food to people experiencing homelessness.

Visitation will be held at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511, on October 17, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511, on October 18, 2026, at 12:30 pm.

A Committal Service will be held at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511, on October 18, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
