Larry Richard Ellis Sr.
January 31, 1942 – January 8, 2013
ELLIS, Larry Richard, Sr., 70, of Tampa entered into rest January 8, 2013. Larry was a 45 year member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local #925. He loved watching Gators football and NASCAR. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his sons, Dwyane and Larry, Jr. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Rose; son, Douglas (Sandra); daughters, Michele Haskins, Donna Sue Ellis, Christine Poindexter; grandchildren, Joseph, Jesse, Jeremy, Rebecca, Bryce, Derekk, Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Noah, Leah, Isaiah; twin brother, Jerry (Betty). A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to LifePath Hospice in Larry's memory.

I work with Rose at the City of Temple Terrace. She is a dedicated employee even though she has been having many challenges.
