Lauren Ann Flowers was born June 7, 1986 to Eric and Judy Jenkins. She answered her Heavenly call on Thursday, January 28 2021, at the age of 34. Anyone would know Lauren by her smile and that she loved being a mother more than anything.
She fell in love with her husband, Chris, after two months of dating. They met in Columbus, Ohio and married in Naples, Florida. Lauren and her family relocated to Brandon, Florida in 2019 where they found enjoyment going to the beach, as a family, and exploring the area. Anyone who knew Lauren recognized her by her beautiful smile, was drawn in by her charismatic personality and how compassionate she was. She was also very strong-willed and if she wanted something, you know she got it!
There were so many good sides of Lauren. She modeled for many years and absolutely loved taking pictures with family and friends. Water was a place she found peace as she was a lifeguard in Westerville, Ohio and moved to Florida where she could frequent the surrounding beaches. Over the years she worked for Victoria Secret and Macy’s because she enjoyed being fashionable and adding to her wardrobe. Lauren also had a love for animals and was able to express this to all the dogs that were part of her life. She saved a dog, Pepper, that she absolutely loved and her family adores. Chris mentioned that Pepper was a special gift she left with her family.
Lauren is survived by her parents, Eric and Judy Jenkins. She leaves behind her spouse, Chris Flowers; three children, Caleb (12), Donovan (5), Dana (4); Mother-in-law, Susan Flowers, Father-in-law, Kelly Flowers; Step mother-in-law Michele Flowers; two sisters, Tiffany Jenkins and Ashley Ripke; brothers-in-law, Nate Ripke, Scott Flowers, and Tony Flowers; sister-in-law, Stephanie Flowers and Bree Flowers; several aunts and uncles; several cousins; one nephew, Cole (3); one niece, Raelynn (1); her fur baby, Pepper. Many good friends and acquaintances also survive. Lauren will be loved forever and missed by all of us.
Her funeral arrangements are being handled by Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens in Brandon, Florida. Lauren’s funeral will be held on Super Bowl Sunday, February 7 2021 at 1pm at the funeral home.
