MEDEARIS, Linda, formerly Linda Coolen , born Linda L. Singletary has passed away on April 23, 2012, at the age of 64 from cancer. She is survived by her husband, John Medearis; and four children, Clarice, married to Eugene “Chip” Clark, Timothy Bell with wife Terry, Johnny Bell with wife Melissa, and James Bell. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Casey and Clinton Clark, Timothy Bell, Jr., Elijah Bell, Zane Bell, Chance Bell and Kallie Bell. Additionally she is survived by her mother, Dorothy Mathews and sister, Brenda Mathews. She worked locally for Dennys Restaurant for nearly 20 years. The family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. with a funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2012 at Stowers Funeral Home.
