She was an artist and loved to paint. Her biggest joy and most rewarding times in her life was spent at the Francis House. She taught painting classes to the residents there. Seeing the joy art brought to the residents made her heart feel full.
Lois had a passion for life and laughter. She loved playing cards and especially enjoyed playing with her children and grandchildren. Lois also loved to cruise, and most certainly there was some card playing there!
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Stephen Urbanski and is survived by her children, Dianne Johnson-Clemis, David (Toni) Urbanski, Karen (Mark) Wuertz, Lynn (Mike) Gross, Conni (Pete) Brown, Steve Urbanski, Mary Pat (Keith) Tucker, Michael (Lynn) Gorey, 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Lois will be sadly missed by her family at the Crossings in Riverview where she was known as “The Queen”.
She will be laid to rest with her husband September 20, 2018 on what would be their 50th Wedding Anniversary.
