SHERRILL, Linda Kay "Lynn", 63, a resident of Valrico for over 22 years, passed away January 28, 2011. Lynn, known to many in Brandon for her positions at the Calico Cat and Chico’s, lost her second battle with cancer after a long fight. She was predeceased by her father, Albert Massey. She is survived by Marc, her husband of 45 years; son Rhett Sherrill; daughter Desra Sherrill; mother Jeanne Price; brother Robert Massey; sister Kim Hopkins and husband Nick; sister in law Debbie Derrick; her beloved mini Yorkie, Abigail Rose; an extended family and numerous friends. A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, February 3, 2011 with a visitation one hour prior at Stowers Funeral Home. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery where Marc will join her in the future. Those who wish may make memorial contributions in her memory to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
