Marcia Ann Hoge

With grateful hearts and unwavering faith, we celebrate the life of Marcia, who peacefully entered the presence of her Lord on July 21, 2026. While our hearts mourn her passing, we rejoice in knowing she has been made whole and welcomed home.

A devoted woman of faith, a gifted educator, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and a lifelong seeker of truth, Marcia lived with curiosity, grace, and a quiet determination to make the world a little better than she found it. For 44 years, she answered the call to teach, inspiring generations of students with knowledge, compassion, and encouragement. Education was more than her profession; it was her passion and a reflection of her generous spirit.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lawrence Hoge. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jennifer Schmidt; her son-in-law, Paul Schmidt; and the light of her life, her cherished granddaughter, Katarina Suarez, who brought her immeasurable joy.

Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched through her faith, her family, and her dedication to education. She will be remembered for her gentle strength, curious mind, and the love she so freely gave to others.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to VITAS Hospice in gratitude for the compassionate care they provided.
