To one of the strongest and most beautiful humans I have ever met. Five years of knowing, loving and caring for you…., but in your own special way, you were caring for me too. I will see you again my beautiful friend. These photos were taken during Covid. Jisela battled through so much but “she did it”! With God…., she endured. I never knew what happened after I moved from Florida, but today Jisela was on my mind today, and I found her name and all these beautiful posts about her life. My hugest condolences to all those that loved her. She will forever be an impact in my life in the most precious of ways.

Dear Jisela, Chris and I have fond memories during our weekend and holiday  gatherings, and travels.. I’ve alway loved your smile and contagious laugh.  You were always so close to God and I rejoice to know you are now in his company.

Our condolences to all the Leija family including her husband up in Florida. Truly Jisela (Gisela) was soooo sweet, she never treated anyone wrong, always very respectful of others, her smile was contagious and she seemed very happy all the time,  she will be greatly missed. I got to meet her through my sister Ofelia " Ofi"Carter, we now know that she is resting in peace and dancing on streets of Gold. Thank you for allowing me to write this peregraph. It’s heartbreaking to hear of our dear friend and roommate’s passing.  1980’s were the good ole days when it was the little things that mattered the most.  Cooking together, listening to the music on the radio, wearing our daisy dukes and laughing and dancing.  I can still hear your laugh.  Gone too soon Jisela. See you on the other side. May God give y’all His strength and His peace that surpasses all understanding 🙏🏼 

My sincerest condolences to the Bolnick and Leija families.  There were four of us that were roommates. We shared lots of fun times, Pillow fights, water balloons, dancing and lots of laughter. Later in life she became my mentor and was a great leader always leading by example. I will miss you my friend and the good times that we had. God be with you till we meet again.

May our dear friend rest in peace.  She light up the room with her smile.  Her contagious laugh made us laugh, pretty soon everyone was laughing we didn't know at what.   You will be missed.
