God, faith, and love of family were the pillars by which she lived her life and the vehicle she used to inspire love and change in others. Those who were fortunate to know her and be a page in her book of life know this all too well. On August 11, 2018, Maria Herminia Negrón, departed this world after many years of battling Alzheimer’s Disease. She was the adored wife of Herminio Negrón, beloved mother to five children, loving grandmother to eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In leading her family, she was an example to all. If integrity and honesty were currency, those in her presence would be eternally rich. Through the meals she cooked, she shared her heritage and love. In discipline, she showed mercy. In compassion, she showed her faith. She will be missed for that calm of character and welcoming smile, her words of wisdom and her warm hugs. Her influence and spirit of love will live on in the actions and hearts of her family and all those she has impacted throughout her’s and their lives. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, Herminio Negron; children, Arnold Negrón, Noel Negrón and his wife Tory Negrón, Anthony Negrón and his wife Patricia Negrón, Marie Negrón, Rose Alayón and her husband Alberto Alayón; grandchildren, Garry Dexter McLaughlin, Shaina Ortiz, Jessica Negrón, John Ortiz Jr., Joshua Ortiz, Alberto Alayón Jr., Noel Patrick Negrón, Jamel Negrón, Arnold G.
