Bob Roberts, 80, of Seffner, FL passed away on July 1, 2021 after a quick illness at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital. Bob was born March 19th in Evergreen, Alabama to Willie and Daisy Roberts. Bob is proceeded in death by his daughter Tracy Cameron. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Roberts, along with his four daughters, Cathy, Cindy, Sandy and Joanne, sister Peggy, nieces as well as grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Bob served 8 years with the US Army, doing two tours during the Vietnam War. Bob had his own painting company and went on to work and retire from the Hillsborough County School Board where he was building portable classrooms. Bob had a love for dachshunds, bluegrass festivals, casinos, and scratch offs. He spent most of his retired years volunteering at local food banks in Plant City and at St. Francis Catholic Church in Seffner.
