Marshall Ross Glass

Marshall was born on July 11 ,1946 in Jamestown, New York. He grew up in South Tampa. After graduating from Robinson High School he entered the Navy from 1966 to 1969 . He then attended USF and studied Business Management. He worked for B&B U-Save as a comptroller then dabled in many different businesses enjoying semi retirement. His last adventure in business was opening an Employee Leasing company with his son Marc. He was a successful businessman and entrepreneur.

He was a member of Rotary and the Shriners.

He was the treasurer for our District House Representative for many years. He enjoyed hunting with his hunting buddies and his son Marc, Scuba diving with his daughter Sheri and fishing with all three of his children when they were young. He loved taking his grandchildren shopping for their birthdays and spending time with them at Bucs games, Ray baseball games, the Shriners carnival, seeing the Globetrotters every year and any other activity that he could find to spend time with them. He enjoyed playing poker with his weekly group and at the casino. Butch would do anything for his family and friends. Butch will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his brothers, Robert and Charles Glass; his children Marc, Sheri (Randy Grossglass) and Lisa (Jerry Jackson ); his grandchildren Ramsey, Nate and Julia Grossglass; John Tierney, Kenny and Ted Jackson; his Ex-wife Andrea Glass; his half sisters, Kay Beckmann and Sandra Smith; his half brothers Robert Duffy, Steve West and Jim Nelson.

A Memorial Service/Celebration of Life will be held at the Elks club, 800 Centennial Lodge Dr., Brandon, FL 33511 on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 2:00pm-5:00pm.
