Martha Visconte

Martha Regenia Visconte, 81, was called home to Heaven on July 4, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Doerun, Georgia, and raised in Plant City from the age of two, Martha lived a life full of grace, faith, and devotion. She was a steadfast follower of Jesus, and her love for the Lord was the foundation upon which she built a nurturing and loving home for her family.

Martha’s greatest joy was the time spent with those she loved. She cherished her role as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, always making her family feel embraced in warmth, laughter, and love. Her heart was her home, and she poured that love into every person she encountered. She was an active member of Sonlife Baptist Church in Valrico, where her faith and kindness touched many lives. Martha was also a proud member of the Eastern Star.

She leaves behind her devoted husband of 47 years, Richard, known affectionately as Rick, whose unwavering love and care for her were a constant throughout their life together. Her two daughters, Sandra (John Lawrence) and Audrey, were the lights of her life, and she adored them beyond measure. Her grandchildren—Keith, Sean, Jacob, and Naomi—held a special place in her heart, and they will forever remember the tender love of their Nana. In addition, Martha was the beloved great-grandmother to seven cherished great-grandchildren: Angel, Hunter, Alexander, Abigail, Ozella, Kainyn, and Saylor. To them, she was simply the best great-Nana.

Martha’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her kindness, faith, and the joy she brought into every room. Her family finds comfort knowing she is at peace, surrounded by the light and love of Heaven.

A celebration of Martha’s beautiful life will be held on July 14, 2025, at Sonlife Baptist Church, followed by a graveside service at Hillsborough Memorial Gardens.

Her memory will forever be a beacon of love, faith, and joy for all who knew her.
