Granny Irene was a force to be reckoned with! She called right right & wrong wrong. She was a good person & warm hearted & generous in spirit too. We would have great visits with her when we took the kids & stayed with her. She was a great cook! Putting any chef to shame. We were proud of this beautiful woman who was OUR GRANDMOTHER. She was ALWAYS well put together in her appearance as well as her household matters. She loved our two kids & they loved her. She was welcoming of me despite the fact that I wasn't from Guyana. We all, Rody, Alec, Nadia and I still love her & always will. May her memory be eternal.
