A neighbor and good friend for many years. Our families knew each other well sharing weddings and births; also parties with the neighbors and karaoke. Mary was always willing to help in our children's early years with Halloween, Easter and Christmas festivities. Mary had such a love for the special needs children she worked with at Yates Elementary--bruises and scratches never affected her love for them. She was like a sister and will be missed. She testified to knowing Jesus so I look forward to seeing her in glory in perfect health and happiness.

I am a former neighbor of Mary's and am sorry to have learned this sad news after the visitation has passed. Mary always had kind words and an encouraging heart. She was very sweet to my special needs daughter, Lois, who unexpectedly went to Heaven in 2014. I am sure that Lois has warmly welcomed Mary into Heaven and that they are happily sharing stories about the neighborhood. May Mary's family by comforted by her ongoing love for them which will endure indefinitely.

Mary and I worked together in our classroom at Yates Elementary. She had a love for our special students, was caring, and would always make our days more fun. She made me laugh a lot! I enjoyed hearing stories of her family and send my condolences to all of you. Rest In Peace Mary.
