I did not know Mercia very long but held in the highest regard. I could see her love for family and she was always welcoming and gracious at gatherings. I must note also that she was usually the first to help with dish cleanup. Amazing lady. We will all miss her. My thoughts and prayers go out to all her family

Mrs. Chung a positive influence on others. She was blessed in many ways, and her children grew up being like her - kind.

One of the most wonderful woman you will ever know, always smiling, always give you a "Chuckle"...such a devoted family person, and bragged about her family always. We worked at Children's Medical Services for many years, and truly missed her when she retired, and now she will me missed continuously. My prayers go to the family, may you know she enjoyed her life to the fullest

Remembering Carl, Jacqui, Shaun, Garry and their respective families at this time when we all reflect on a life well lived.  Whenever we met, we were embraced with a warm hug, smile and gracious hospitality.  Family meant a lot to Mercia and she never allowed her illness to put a damper on her positive outlook on life.  May it comfort you to know that one of the most treasured possessions a loved one leaves is a heart full of loving memories.  Sorrow will fade in time, but love remains forever.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.  May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.  Amen.

To dear Uncle Carl, Jacqui, Shaun & Garry (& the extended Chung family:

Aunty Mercia will always be with us,though not physically. I will always remember my childhood days growing up next door and the times she would offer me a drive to school those mornings when I was running late and left behind. She was beautiful and most well-meaning with values few could surpass.  We have been enriched by her friendship, love & sincerity, and now with the happiest memories of her. May God provide you all the strength at this sad time and in the days ahead. With sincere sympathy & much love.

I had worked with Mercia at CMS. The love and compassion that she had for people was remarkable that made her so SPECIAL.   She was the most truthful, lovable, caring, sweet, positive lady.  She always will be remember… ?  My heart goes out to the family during this difficult time.

To Uncle Carl and family, please accept deepest sympathies on behalf of Mum and the rest of the family on Auntie Mercia's passing. I recall great memories of days back in Guyana. I am a CMS retiree.  Mercia trained me when I first came to CMS.  I always admired her for her genuine kindness.  She befriended me during those first days and remained a friend forever.  Celebrate her wonderful life!!!

Mercia was a lovely person, who had the ability to make every one feel good about themselves. I saw many parents enter her office crying and confused, to apply for CMS services,  and later leave with a smile and holding their heads high, knowing that their children were going to be well cared for----Mercia, you will be greatly missed! Carl and all of her family, she loved all of you so much; my heart is with all of you.

I was Mercia's Supervisor at Children's Medical Service.  She was a lovely person, with a zest for life and everyone in the office loved her.  She always talked about her family in such a loving way. It upsets me greatly that I will never get to see her again.

I worked with Mercia during her employement at Children's Medical Services, she was a kind hearted lovely woman who will be missed by all her friends and family.
