BRANDON, Michael J., 78, of Ruskin entered into rest April 28, 2015. Michael is the great-grandson of town namesake John Brandon, nephew of Buffalo Bill Cody, and great-nephew of Kit Carson. He loved boating, fishing, and his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark "Papa B" and Lillian "Marney" Brandon; brother, Mark "Uncle Bo" Zacharias Brandon III; sister, Mary Ann "Aunt Nana" Peppers. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Charlotte; sons, Michael S. Brandon Sr., Timothy Scott Stalvey, Ronnie Michael Brandon; daughters, Mary Lynn Smith, Deborah Brandon Seeley, Michelle Ann Owens, Elen Brandon-Harden, Marla Kay Brandon Gebeault; brother, Robert "Uncle Bobby" Brandon; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Stowers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
