Miguel Angel Ruiz

Above all else, Miguel was a man who loved God first. His faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of his life, and he trusted in the Lord through every season. Even in his later years, Miguel remained devoted to hearing the Word of God and faithfully worshiped from home through Jimmy Swaggart Ministries.

Miguel lived his faith not only in words, but in the way he treated others. He was known for his loving, joyful, compassionate, and forgiving heart. He loved people deeply, including those who may have hurt him, and he chose to respond with grace, kindness, and love. His life reflected the mercy and forgiveness he believed God had called him to show.

Miguel worked for many years as a foreman at the New York Hilton, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.

He shared many years of life and love with his beloved wife, Judith Ruiz, who preceded him in death three years ago. Their family finds comfort in the promise of God and in believing that Miguel and Judith are now reunited in the presence of the Lord.

Miguel was a devoted father to his nine children: Danny, David, Naomi, Tony, Lillian, Quetsy, Michelle, Diana, and Milly. He was also deeply blessed through his 23 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren, who will continue to carry his faith, love, strength, and legacy into future generations.

Miguel also shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Willie, who passed away on June 18, 2026. Willie was a faithful companion and brought Miguel much happiness and comfort.

Miguel will be remembered as a man who loved God, loved his family, loved people, and believed in forgiveness. His family will miss his presence, his smile, his compassion, and his loving spirit more than words can express.

Although there is great sorrow in saying goodbye, his family rejoices in the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ. They take comfort in knowing that Miguel has finished his earthly journey and is now at home with his Savior.
