Milagros "Millie" Ortiz

ORTIZ, Milagros “Millie”, 58, of Brandon passed away on November 15, 2011, after a heroic 21 month battle with recurrent ovarian cancer. Millie worked for over 10 years as a Fragrance Specialist at International Mall in Tampa, Florida. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Edwin; two daughters, Bridgeth Ortiz and Liza Ortiz; granddaughter, Sadiya Sutherland; an extended family and numerous friends. Millie's deep compassion and love for others touched many people. You could always count on Millie to lend a helping hand at anytime to anyone that needed her. Her legacy is her strong faith, and the fact that Millie truly loved people and was always selfless in helping others. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., on

Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 7001 12th Avenue South, Tampa, Florida, 33619. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Bay Pines National Cemetery, St. Petersburg, Florida.
