Remembering Nancy ismy reward for having the honor of knowing her.
She filled me with hope & laughter.
Truly blessed me in times of need (more times than I can name).
Loved me unconditionally & always, always had time to listen.
I'm sure  I wasn't the only one. That's just who Nancy was.
God loaned us an Angel for awhile. 

Once in awhile, in your lifetime, someone walks into your life and stays to walk beside you.
We shared life, strength hurt, joy, excitement and most of all love.
I'm really going to miss those walks.
You have left a hole in our world that could only be filled by you.
Thank you for the memories my Friend.

Nancy was my cousin and gal pal. We would ride the bus to downtown and meet at Kress’ where we would have lunch and go to see a Japanese monster movie. We would buy either a dill pickle or slow poke candy bar. If we had enough money. Afterwards we would ride the bus to either her house or mine to spend the night.

Nancy has always had and will always have a special place in my heart. We met when we were about 6 years old when her folks bought the place next door to us. We became buddies and that lasted through elementary, jr. hi, and high school. We played together listened to records and danced together over the years and had great times. In high school she rode with me and always got “shotgun” because that was her place. If I was going to skip school I’d let her know and either drop her off at school or else she’d ride the bus that day. Many days we’d stop at Dairy Queen after school for a vanilla cone to enjoy on the ride home. After high school we didn’t see much of each other. I moved to Brandon then joined the Air Force and was gone for many years.
But she always remained special. Like a sister. 
Nancy will be missed and never forgotten.

I met Nancy at TAW. On my first day, she took me under her wing. She, along with Sylvia and Christine, became my work Momma. She would joke around and tell these fantastic stories. One of my favorite things to do for Nancy was to buy her a Valentine's Day gift every year we worked together and leave it at her desk. When she found it, her face would light up and she was so happy. 

I am going to miss her so much.


I'm so sorry that Nancy has passed away. She was a great friend. Even though I only worked with her at TAW for 3 years, we have kept in touch for more than 20 years beyond that. She's helped me in many ways, and I'll always be grateful for her friendship and kindness.

My name is Linda and I was heartbroken to hear of Nancy's passing but also knowing her as my sister in Christ I am looking forward to seeing her again some day and our friendship will continue on into eternity.  My condolences to all her family and some how as time passes so will the ache in your heart.  It was a privilege to have called her my friend.

So sorry to hear of Nancy's passing.  We worked together at TAW from Day 1.  She always kept me in line, or tried to.  Many memories.  She will be greatly missed

 I met Nancy at church; she was new with her family. She was 13, sweet and pretty. A few years passed and one day wedding bells rang. Then a new house was built and blessings came with names; Tracy and Stacy. The babies grew up and gave her grandchildren, changing her name to Nana. We shared a lot of things;  church was our favorite thing to do. We laughed, we cried and both loved God; then Elvis too (in second place).
