

Olga was born on July 19, 1950, in Humacao, Puerto Rico, to Alejandro Serrano and Providencia Serrano. In 1951 they moved to Lorain Ohio where she graduated from Admiral King High School in 1968. It was there, while working as a ticket clerk at a local movie theater, that she met the love of her life, Ismael Coss. The two married in 1971 and shared 54 devoted years together, raising seven children and building a family rooted in love, resilience, and faith.
In September of 1988, they made the decision to move to Tampa Florida. After sending her youngest child off to school, she acquired an associates degree and worked with compassion and love for The Department of Children's and Families for many years. She ended her career and retired in 2013 at The Hillsborough Department of Corrections where she was admired and loved by anyone who had the opportunity to know her.
She enjoyed the large family she created including her 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and was excited to meet her 4th on the way.
She is predeceased by her father Alejandro Serrano, her mother Providencia Serrano, her sister Nilsa Serrano, and grandson Ismael Jose Coss.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ismael Coss, her 4 siblings, Jaime Serrano, Edgar Serrano, Hector Serrano and Rosanna Nieves. Her 7 children, Nilsa Hayes and husband Reginald Hayes, Ismael Coss II and wife Diana Coss, Eliezer Coss and fiance Valerie Jimenez, Jaime Coss and fiance Nicole Caride, Diana Coss, Jeremias Coss, and Alex Coss. Her 13 grandchildren, Christopher Bisnauth, Julius (AJ) Bisnauth, Ariyana Coss, SeanCarlo Coss, Diliana Coss, Josiah Coss, Azariah Coss, Juliet Coss, Jeremias Coss, Johnathan Coss, Sofiya Coss, Jonas Bethley, and Jazmine Bethley. Her 3 great grandchildren, Kayla Garcia, Phoenix Coss, and Atticus Coss. Her 4 extended grandchildren, Janise Bruno, Joshua Dueñas, Zachary Caride, Zoe Caride. Her 5 extended great grandchildren Zayden Caride, Zaniya Golden, Kingston Golden, Elisa Bruno, and Elio Bruno.
