Dear sweet Aunt Oma Lee was the one who was ever present in our lives growing up. Even though our dad, her baby brother, Hilliard, was in the Air Force, she and Uncle Pete always made a point to come visit us no matter where we were in the US. She introduced us girls to southern cooking, Plant City strawberries, and gave us our first dog (against our dad's wishes). We appreciated the time she took to spend with us when Dad was so sick and passed away. Today, they are both enjoying each other again in Heaven. We will miss you Aunt Oma Lee, but we have the Lord's promise that we will see each other again.

My fondest memories of her go back to my younger days as a Girl Scout. She was one of my troop leaders. Her daughters Carolyn and Betty were also in my life growing up. Prayers go to all the family.

Aunt Oma Lee was a special kind of aunt. We spent time with her and Uncle Pete during the summer and some holidays. She always had something exciting for us to do, fish camp, the beach and those special times at the amusement park. She saved her tickets all year from gas purchases so we would have plenty for the rides. A truly special person. We loved her and she will certainly be missed. Praying for peace and comfort for the family.

Thanks to Oma Lee for always treating me like family, telling & showing me all about Plant City & stories of family, taking us to the Strawberry Festival, joining us for a Braves game, and mostly for being such a wonderful Big Ma to her great-grandchildren.
We will always remember & miss you & the way you said, "I love you!"
