July 21, 1948April 11, 2019

Moore, Patricia Joe Ann, passed away April 11, 2019 at Kindred Hospital of Tampa, FL. She was born July 21, 1948 in Wilmington, NC. She was the youngest of 6 children born to the late Vinson and Bernice Davis. Preceded in death- Siblings: Inez Beatty (Sonny), Joseph Davis, James Davis(Ida Mae), Ira Lee Davis She was known to most as Pat, Mom, Maga, and Gaga. Her time was devoted to supporting her husband who was in the US Army traveling to many places, raising her two kids and always devoted to family. Her vacations were spent going home to visit parents, siblings and extended family every year in her early years. She enjoyed the simple things of life such as cooking for the holidays, taking care of her home and spending time with family/friends near and far away. Her hobbies through the years changed depending where she lived.. But she enjoyed trying new things such as sewing, knitting and needle point. She loved taking pictures and you would find lots of pictures without her in them because she was the one taking them. Her grandkids, nieces and nephews touched a special place in her heart and she would go to the moon and back for various reasons and seasons to be a part of their lives. She was a vigilant fighter to the end and will be graciously missed. Patricia is survived by her husband Albert Moore of 52 years. To this union 2 children were born: Kimberly Gage(Jerome) and Alan Moore(Tiffany). Four Grandkids: Tevin Gage, Sydnee Gage, Cameron Moore and Izaiah Moore . Surviving Sibling: Barbara Pringle, Betty Davis (sister in-law) and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date in Wilmington, North Carolina Memorial donations in memory of Patricia can be made to American Heart Association –

Psalm 23 A psalm of David. 1 The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. 4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley,[a] I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

I am so sorry to hear of Pat’s transition from this earth to be with God.....HE has spoken and it is HIS will concerning Pat.
As I reminisce over the years and the fun times Pat, Ann, my sister Diane and myself it makes me smile because we were blessed to have known each other as cousins. We had great times as children and teenagers while living on Seabreeze. It was phenomenal living because our Mothers and Daddy’s worked hard and took very good care of us. We ate plenty of fish, shrimp, crabs, and clams and other good food, dressed to the nines, had nice cars and lived very nice lives. All of this when so many were not privileged to do so. But Mr Vinson, Ms. Berniece, My parents, Bruce and Corine Freeman made this happen with the help of God........
Please accept my sincere prayers and condolences during this difficult time.
