Patricia Ann Nicholas, 82, of Lithia, Florida passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Kenneth Nicholas. She will be forever missed by her three loving daughters Joanne Waver (John), Kelly Russ (Mark), and Wendy Danciger (Dan); grandchildren Nick (Shelby) and Erin Waver, Maggie Russ (Nick), Brendan Fusco, and Taylor Danciger; one great grandchild Lane Fusco; niece Megan Twomey (Kristi), nephew Christopher Twomey (Haylee), as well as sisters Mary Rathbun, and Jean Silke (Mark), and a large extended family including brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A native of Buffalo, New York, Patricia was a graduate of Mount Mercy Academy. She moved to Tampa, Florida in 1969. She retired from Martinez and Odom after many years of loyal service as a legal assistant/paralegal. She was the kind of person who made everyone feel special, always ready with a listening ear, a warm hug, or words of encouragement. Her legacy is one of love expressed in the way she cared for her children, spoiled her grandchildren, and stood by her friends through every season of life. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her loving husband Ken.
The family would like to offer sincere thanks to a group of special ladies at her assisted living facility— Shirley, Marjorie, Rachel, Saba, Ariel, Einnette, Lina, Josie, Mel, Carol, Beth, and Norma. Patricia may no longer walk beside us, but her love will remain in every shared memory, every family gathering, and every quiet moment of reflection. She was, and always will be, the heart of our family.
A private memorial mass will be held at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church.
