Patricia Jane Resnik

Patricia’s life can best be encapsulated by five "F" words: Family, Friends, Faith, Flowers, and Fun. In her 85 years here with us, she experienced an abundance of each. She will forever be remembered for her outgoing personality and the outpouring of love and support she willingly gave to both family and friends.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Gerry Resnik; her parents, Edmund and Gwen Szelap; and her brother, Joseph Ryan.

She is survived by her sister Sally (and husband Lynn); her children Brandon (and wife Ann Marie), Renee, and Jason (and wife Carrie); her grandchildren Lauren (Matt), Kayla (Jordan), Alexis, Andrew, Sydney, and Ethan; and her great-grandchildren Roman and Elodie.

A formal service is not being held, as Patricia was a firm advocate for the progression of medical science. She made the decision a long time ago to donate herself to the State of Florida Anatomical Board for the purpose of anatomical education and medical research. Her generosity and forward-thinking spirit continue to inspire those who knew her, serving as a lasting testament to her values and the positive impact she had on others.
