Phyllis retired from Mort Elementary School, where she worked as a Teachers Assistant. She enjoyed spending time with her family, square dancing, playing bingo and going on cruises. She will be deeply missed and always remembered.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, John Woodlief and son, Stuart Sherman.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Boos, Brian (Linda) Sherman; brother, Robert (Merle) Berg; grandchildren, Corrina Boos, Tyler Sherman; daughter in law, Kecia Sherman; cousins, Meral Ginsberg, Ronald Lees; and many friends.
