Davila-Torres, Rafael, 81, of Brandon, Fla., passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2011. He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and lived in Brandon for 23 years. Rafael was a veteran of the Army serving in the Korean War, was a member of the American Legion, and was an avid Domino player. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Ermelinda; his daughter Diana and son-in-law Noel; his grandchildren, Kate and Anthony; and many nieces, nephews and friends. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 from 6-8 pm followed by a funeral service on Thursday, December 15, 2011, 10 am at Stowers Funeral home, 401 W. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, Fla with interment at Florida National Cemetery.
