Ray Alcover, 51, of Brandon, lost his courageous battle with cancer on February 8, 2015. He is survived by his wife Sonia, daughter Amanda & husband Adam, stepson Juan Garcia, Jr., parents Grace & Antonio Alcover, sister Griselda Alcover, grandchildren Kaylie & Mason and extended family and friends. Ray had 30 years of service with the city of Tampa to include his last position of Arson Investigator Supervisor. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with funeral serviec to follow at 2:00 p.m., both at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 W. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, FL.
