SANCHEZ, Richard B., 72, of Tampa, went to be with the angels on March 28, 2016. He left behind his loving wife, Barbara “Babby”; stepchildren, Tamara Bowman (Ron), C. Todd Bowman; grandchildren, Angel, Brittney, Rachel, Elise, Alexis; adoring sister, Lorraine Vega; brother, Roland (Bonnie); nephew, Raymond (Soraya); nieces, Tammi (Bob); Patricia Lillie who was like a daughter to him; and many nieces and nephews who were dear to his heart. He worked for TECO for 32 years and spent his retirement playing golf, traveling and spending time with family and loved ones. He will always be remembered for his fun-loving attitude and dedication to his family. His spirit will live on forevermore in the lives he touched. “Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! Happy Birthday!” because no matter the day or the occasion, Richard always saw it fit to express these sentiments. That, and a “yoo-hoo” at the front door. A celebration of life will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
