Robert Joseph Alvarez Jr. “Bob”, 55, passed away June 8, 2015. Born in Boston, MA, Robert was a long time resident of Florida and loved living the Florida lifestyle. A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Robert also served in the Massachusetts National Guard and the Florida National Guard. He enjoyed being outdoors, boating, and watching the Tampa Bay sports teams- Rays, Bucs and Lightning. Robert especially loved spending time with his family and friends. Everyone knew him as a generous man who was always there for everybody in many capacities. As an engineer, Robert worked for Jabil Circuit in Clearwater. He is survived by his beloved wife Nima of 31 years, his loving sons Mariano and Phillip, his dear mother Barbara and his cherished brother Frank and his sister Jeanine Gangloff as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of Robert’s life will be held Sunday June 14th from 1-2pm with the rendering of Naval Military Honors at 2pm at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 W.
