I met Bob in when he started spending time with my mother "Dot". He was there for my MBA graduation, and throughout the last 25+ years of my life. Through him I learned about milk and milk production and the difference in the breeds. I got to meet the Sullivans , Scott, Bonnie and the kids Brian and Emily, from Griswoldville, MA. I was able to show him why I loved living in San Diego, CA. I got to enjoy introducing the Sullivan children to Disney in Anaheim, CA. I got to appreciate all of the amazing models he would make (for trains and later model ships). He was always a great gardener and grew food no matter where he and my mother lived.
Trough out it all he loved my mother and he loved Hockey. He played Hockey well into his senior years. The Salvation Army Center Koch Arena in San Diego, CA was walking distance from my house. When he retired he donated his Goalie gear to them. His gear was put on display to show the youth just how far the game had come.
It was sad when Bob had to give up the snow bird life and stay in Florida year round. I did not get to see him after he took up residence at Manatee Springs Care and Rehabilitation Center. Mom was visiting every day until Covid-19 restrictions put an end to those visits. Within weeks of that restriction, Bob was gone.
He was such a good man to myself and my family.
Love forever Bob-oh!
