Daniel,

I met you when I was only 14 years old. When I was 16 you, Jaci, Matt and I went on a road trip to NC to visit Lonnie in your Team Slow Neon. You have this genius idea of inventing an on ramp sling shot because people drove so slow merging onto the highway. 20 years later this is still talked about and it was all a product of your genius.

If was later that you and I truly gained a mutual respect for one another. I sincerely think that you were the best father and husband that anyone could hope for. Logan was blessed to have such a positive influence teaching him. I cannot put into words how happy you made Jaci. I've never met two people more destined to be together. My boys were lucky to have you as their Uncle, they always loved spending time with you while we were down there. 

You were a great brother in law, I will always miss you. Rest in paradise big brother. Hug Rhonda and Lonnie for the boys and I ❤️

Mechanical Dan 
  I didn't know you as well as I wanted to.
However,  I remember the first time I met you and thinking how right you were for our Jaci.
 I remember your wedding.  I looked at the love of my life and said, "They look so happy. " He replied,  "They do."
  In the photos I see love, I see laughter, and I see how safe Jaci felt with you. 
  Jaci said that when she was wronged,  you would stand up for her no matter who wronged her.   That is rare.  Not every husband would do this. 
  Logan.  Oh my gosh.  That photo in the store with your son in the fishing net.   All the photos of fishing and hiking and family times.   I could see how lucky Logan is to have had you.  You were such a good Dad. 
  My Sister loved you as a Son.  Her husband loved you as his best friend.
  As a brother in law, I could see how safe and free my other Nieces felt around you.   I can also see what a wonderful Uncle you were.
  I could see the bond between you and my Son.  You were a perfect cousin for him.
  Many speak of you as a good friend who loved adventure.   You were so much fun.  
 We will always talk about you and keep your spirit alive.

Robert was a great co worker and good friend.  Truly an all around good person.  He will be missed.

I'm sorry we didn't get to make amends before you were called to heaven. I hope and pray you know just how proud of you I am and that I thought about you everyday since we last talked. You were an amazing father, husband, son, brother and friend. Give mom and dad a hug and I will see you again in Valhalla. 

Words cannot explain how we truly feel about all of this.  We absolutely loved every trip or event we shared together.  You guys are family to us and always will be.  Dan was a truly a family man putting family above all else.  He may no longer be with us on this earth, but will forever be with us in our minds and hearts.  He will truly be missed by all.

Lots of great memories of Dan when he was in middle school and high school with my son Travis.  A lot of their friends would come to our home and hang out in the pool, eat and have a good time.  I remember the first time Jaci came to our house and I answered the door and said to Dan "Wow, that is your girlfriend? - Good job!"  We were honored to be invited to their wedding and over the years have them over.  Dan had an infectious smile and a was a pranster.  He was always joking around.  We and his family and friends will forever miss him.  God rest your soul Dan and to Jaci and Logan, our hearts are breaking for you and we are here for anything at all you need, even if you just want to come over and have some comfort food. Our community lost a truly great person. Dan was the kind of guy who would make himself available to help out at a moments notice. The kind of guy who you were happy to hear was going to be in the group for whatever event was going on. He was always helpful on our mountain bike trips and would always push you to be a better rider. Dan will be sorely missed, but forever remembered.

My deepest condolences to Dan’s family and friends. Anyone who knew Dan knows he was just a genuinely nice guy.  That’s the best way I can describe him.  I was fortunate to meet him in the mountain biking community and he would coach me to be a better rider. We had a lot of mutual friends spanning back over 25 years. He is one of those people who leave a mark in your life and he will always be fondly remembered. 

Dan was such an amazing guy…he always had a smile on his face and usually was making someone else smile or laugh!! I will never forget some of the memories I have shared with Jaci and Dan! Being in their wedding was an honor. I love you guys so much! Rest In Peace Dan! We will all help take care of your girl and your little man. ~ til we meet again….

It’s just so hard to believe that you’re really gone. I don’t have many memories with my uncle because we lived in a different state but I do know that the ones I did make with him, are the ones i’ll always cherish. From coming over and eating pizza with him, Aunt Jaci and Logan, having piggyback races in parking lot with my sisters, my dad, Uncle Matt and the family and all the time we would spend at Paca’s house with the entire family for get togethers and holidays. You always had the best laugh and knew how to cheer somebody up instantly. The last time I got to see and speak to him was on a video chat with the family and I still laugh to this day when I had him meet my boyfriend of 3 years for the first time and he says “Hello” in a deep voice, sounding just like a dad would and I just laughed. I will never forget these little moments that made an impact on my life. I love you Uncle Dan and I know you’re watching over all of us and probably laughing at the little things we do. Fly high💛

It is impossible to only share one memory. You're one of a few friends I've known for as long as I knew you, and there are way too many great times and memories.  From the times fishing, the times riding in the Jeep, and even when recording Cybercop or Seawolf. I am truly going to miss you and not being able to have more memories with you. You were a fiercely loyal friend and I forever will remember that. You were an incredible husband, and loving father. Jaci and Logan, I am so sorry for your loss. Those who loved him have all lost a piece of themselves with Dan departing. Rest in peace friend.
