FITZGERALD, Robert William “Bobby”, 60, of Tampa, passed away May 17, 2014. He worked as an iron worker for Local Union #397. He lived to work and even after he no longer could, he loved helping his family, friends and neighbors with small projects. He also enjoyed fishing and baseball. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Elizabeth Fitzgerald. He is survived by his wife, Laura; sons, William Henry, Bobby Lee; daughters, Ronnie Jean, Rene; sisters, Cynthia Faircloth, Theresa Fitzgerald, Anne Marie Davis, Catherine Nagel, Diana Fitzgerald; aunts, Alice Mullen, Anna Wheeler, Ethel Gildersleeve, Beade Campbell; six grandchildren; and seven nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 6-8 pm Wednesday, May 21 at Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon. A funeral mass will take place 11 am on Thursday, May 22 at Mary Help of Christians, Tampa. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Summer Youth Camp program at Mary Help of Christians, 6400 E. Chelsea St., Tampa, FL 33610 in memory of Bobby.
