Bob was always hanging around Robert Paton and a huge advocate for supporting me with helping our veterans. He was an amazing guy and I will miss him dearly. I am the female in the picture receiving an award that day from Veterans Council of Hillsborough County.

Bob, you came into mine and my mother’s lives and changed them for the best. You saved my mom’s heart and soul. 

There are no words to express what you meant to me. You filled a role that was missing in my life. You didn’t have to treat me as your own, but you did without a second thought. You did not have to be a beautiful person with a wonderful heart. We may not have been related by blood, but you loved me more than anyone could. I'll treasure the memories, and I truly feel that I was so lucky to have had a Stepdad who Stepped-Up.

I can't remember when my husband and I met Bob and his wife Judy.
But I do remember what great friends they became.  We had so many wonderul times at the Moose and Amvets.  Times that will never be forgotten.  But Michael Lomsak was absolutely right.  When Judy died Bob changed.  He was so lost without her.   He hated everthing.  But I know he loved John and me.  I looked forward to meeting him on Thursdays at 44.  We had our laughs together and I will forever remember him leaning over to me after we had talked and saying to me "Have me Met".    So Rest in Peace Our Friend.  We will miss you.

The day he passed, we had such great time at AMVETS post 44. He was dear to me , never judgmental and had a warm hug. “This is more fun than an all night dentist “ -BOB. I love you my friend.

I met Bob in 1986.  Bob and I were joker extrordinare's.  We worked at Yale Industrial Trucks for 5 years and remained friends all these years.  If you were around us and couldn't handle a prank, then you didn't want to be with us.  If we pranked you its because we liked you.   There aren't enough letters permitted in this format to tell some of the stories we had.  My Brother Joe, Bob, and myself made many little jaunts in my brothers plane, all around the state, and to the Keys several times.   Of the 3 of us, I'm all that's left.  Bob met Judy, the love of his life, during that 5 years we worked together.  When she passed, Bob was never the same.  Judy kept him stable, if that's possible, and was like a rock for him.  Bob talked about her frequently and how much he missed her even to this day.  I know I am going to miss his friendship and just stopping for a drink with him at the Amvet 44.  We always had a laugh.  I pray for his soul and that he found the peace that he was looking for.   I talked to him since his love passed and trust me when I say, I did everything I could and only Bob could save Bob.  I feel like he cheated me but I forgive him.  I feel blessed to have known him.  I will miss you, my friend.  May you Rest In Peace.
