Romualdo Pineda, 54, loving son, husband, father, and Abuelo, passed away on May 15 in the comfort of his own home surrounded by family. Born in Jerécuaro, Mexico, his life was a testament to hard work, perseverance, and love.
Romualdo was the perfect example of the American dream. He immigrated to America at only 14 years old and worked tirelessly to build a legacy for his family. He spent 37 years as a plumber and founded Gulf Coast Plumbing of Central Florida in 1999 alongside his friend and business partner, Robert Sutton. He was a lifetime member of the Florida Association of Plumbing, Gas, and Mechanical Inspectors (FAPGMI). His hard work and dedication not only provided for his family, but also built a strong future for them. He took immense pride in building homes for his three boys, ensuring they were always cared for.
In his free time, Romualdo loved fishing, traveling, and being surrounded by loved ones. He enjoyed every moment, big or small. He was known as a strong, hardworking man who would help anyone in need.
Anyone who knew Romualdo would say that his greatest accomplishments were not in business, but in the love he showed others. He was a devoted and loving husband of 34 years to his wife, Marisol Pineda. Together, they raised three wonderful sons: Jessie Pineda, Rudy Pineda, and Robert Pineda. He was also the world’s best Abuelo to his seven grandchildren: Jackson Ellis Pineda, Jessie Bennett Pineda, Levi Brooks Pineda, Mateo Thomas Pineda, Robert Junior Pineda, Noah Oliver Pineda, and Maribel Shaw Pineda.
His passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but his memory and legacy will live on in all who love him.
A Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2026 at Wellspring Community Church, 705 9th Street Southeast, Ruskin, Florida. Interment to follow in Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, 2323 West Brandon Boulevard, Brandon, Florida.
The Pineda family appreciates your love and prayers during this extremely difficult time.
