Born on March 27, 1966, in Puerto Rico, Ronnie was the son of Gail Walzer and Ronnie Garvin Sr. He attended high school at Robinson High and worked as a carpenter for 44 years.
Ronnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, cheering on his nephew, Garrett, at his sporting events, and spending time with his family. Above all, he treasured every opportunity to be with his beloved grandson, Wyatt. Because they lived miles apart, those moments together were especially meaningful and became some of his most cherished memories.
Ronnie was known for his loving and generous heart, always willing to help others and ready to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. His loyalty to his family and friends never wavered, and his larger-than-life personality could light up any room and instantly bring a smile to those around him. He faced life’s many challenges with remarkable strength, courage, and an unwavering positive attitude that inspired everyone who knew him. Ronnie also possessed an unmatched work ethic, approaching everything he did with dedication, determination, and pride.
Ronnie is survived by his loving mother, Gail; his brother, Kevin, and wife, Lisa; their son, Garrett; his son, Tayler; his daughter, Kara, and her husband, Jordan; and his beloved grandson, Wyatt. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Sr., and his grandparents, John and Jane Hatala, and Otis and Edie Garvin.
