Ronald proudly served in the United States Coast Guard for four years prior to working as a brewing foreman at Anheuser-Busch, from which he later retired. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was a Master of the 32 degree of Scottish Rite (southern jurisdiction) and a member of 'A.W. Windhorst' Masonic Lodge 185 for over 25 years. He continued to serve his community by not only reaching the milestone of donating 32 gallons of blood over his lifetime, but he also delivered for meals on wheels for ten years.
Ronald leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 42 years, Nellareen Carter Parker; son Michael Ronald Parker (Lori); daughter Kimberly Jean Watford (David); daughter Sandra Parker Lombardi (Frank); and daughter Alicia Carpenter (Dennis); brother Terry Parker (Barbara), sister Cheryl Haggerty, sister Ann Renee Rehm and sister Sue Leverett; nine grandchildren; Eric Parker, Shaun Parker, Matthew Watford, Courtney Alexander, Keith Watford, Cameron Parker, Daniel Watford, Theo Lombardi and Emma Lombardi, as well as three great-grandchildren.
Ronald was preceded in death by; father Barney Mack Coy Parker and mother Minnie Ophelia Cook.
A visitation for Ronald will be held Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511. A funeral service will occur Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511. A burial will occur at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, Florida 33511.
