WEST, Shirley A., 65, peacefully departed this life November 28, 2011. The inspiration of her life dimmed far too soon and she will never be forgotten. Born in Adel, Georgia, November 26, 1946, she is preceded in death by her father and mother, Homer and Forest Lee West. She is survived by her loving companion and best friend, Raymond Viers; two sisters, Lou Ellen Curby (Travis) and Donna Noles (Bobby); brother, James Homer Lee West; an extended family and numerous friends. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Stowers Funeral Home. A special service celebrating her life will take place at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 2, 2011 at her home church, the First Pentecostal Tabernacle, 7416 E. Mohawk Avenue, Tampa, with her nephew, the Rev. Kenneth H. Noles officiating and her loving family sharing in the memory of her legacy. Interment will immediately follow the service at Seffner Cemetery.
